As Trichologists we perform Hair Analysis and as Cosmetologists we are specialized in Hair Extensions, Hair Replacement, Haircuts, Color, Body Waves, Spiral Perms, High Lights, Japanese Ionic Hair Straightener (among others Hair Relaxers), and Keratin Treatment.  A Trichologist identifies and treats hair loss, hair shaft breakage and scalp disorders.

GMG is part of a new Beauty Concept Called "SALONZ BEAUTY SUITES" with more than 30 Suites dedicated to the Beauty Services, where you may select from a list of professionals that will fulfill your expectations.

Which treatments are good for my hair?
Hair's main purpose is not only to protect our bodies but also to give us beauty, personality, and style.  In the same way that each person differs from one another, hair also has its variation and uniqueness. 

Because we are sure that your hair is important to you; before making any recommendation we need to first analyze your hair.

Today, bare eye hair analysis can only provide us with 25% of accuracy in hair exams.  Similarly, magnification lenses (video cameras, etc.) and other techniques of measurement can provide an additional 15%, resulting in only hair exams providing results that are only 40% accurate.  By Comparison GMG Trichological Hair Analysis, performed inside and outside the scalp, can result in 99% accuracy in determining hair abnormalities.

Why should I have my hair analyzed?
Hair, skin, nails and eyes are the first in to show signs of abnormalities that indicate hair deficiencies.

What does Classical Naturopathy means?
The age long practice of Naturopathy (also known as naturopathic medicine and natural medicine) is an eclectic alternative medical system that focuses on natural remedies and the body's vital ability to heal and maintain itself.  Naturopathic philosophy favors a holistic approach and minimal use of drugs or surgical procedures. That is to say teaching clients how applying natural life style changes can act to facilitate the body's self-healing and health building potential. The classical naturopath does not undertake to treat disease but instead recognizes that the majority of sub-health conditions are cumulative effects (brought on by unhealthy choices). 

The main underlying cause of disease has been proven to come from improper diet, unhealthy habits and environmental factors that cause biological imbalances leading to a weakening of the body's defenses and subsequent breakdown in health. The practice of classical naturopathy is a natural alternative to the practice of medicine and is accepted in all 50 states. Some states now require proper licensing and certification to practice this medicine.   Naturopathic physicians have 4 year degrees that includes pharmacology and minor surgery training.

Is GMG-THA close related to Classical Naturopathy?
Yes, Classical Naturopathy’s most important principle is to prevent sickness and to promote the body's self-healing.  Hair needs a healthy environment in order to grow successfully and to look shiny, healthy, and beautiful. 

GMG-THA investigations will help to detect hair abnormalities at the first sign of a problem, such as falling/thinner.  We as Cosmetologist need a tool like GMG-THA to identify hair abnormalities and to determine if they're developed inside the skin, outside the skin, or both. The result will help Cosmetologist to take the right steps to correct and avoid future damage.

 Where the practice of Naturopathy comes from?
The practice of classical naturopathy is recognized as a common occupation at the federal level (US Congress 1928, 1929 1930 and 30 Federal Court rulings between 1958 and 1978) and in such a profession is protected under the 14th Amendments of the US Constitution. Several states have also made this stipulation either by statute or in the courts.

Where the practice of Trichology comes from?
The word Trichology originates from the ancient Greek word Trikhos meaning hair. The study of hair disorders became known as Trichology and the first “Institute of Trichologist" was founded in 1902.
